65983: Transformation: Letting God Change You from the Inside Out, InterActions Series Transformation: Letting God Change You from the Inside Out, InterActions Series

While most of us will go to incredible lengths to alter our exteriors in order to gain the approval of others, to what lengths will we go to alter our interiors in order to gain the approval of God? Does your heart need softening? Is your mind razor sharp? Do you have ears to hear? Transformation will help you recognize and cooperate with God's transforming influence in your life. Six group "InterActions" with leader's notes.

The Alphabet of God

Invent a heart
With a wolf's song.
Construct a soul
With an eagle's wing.
Weave a mind
With a dolphin's fin.
Design a dream
With moonlight.
Seek the castle of spirits
And linger in the chambers of love.
Caress the divine details,
Traveling towards the morning star.
Do not forget the alphabet of God
Descending from the clouds
As rainbows.

Prayer

Give me wings
Infinite in lightness.
Enter my vision,
As you did David's at midnight.
At Midwinter
Teach me the story
Of stars and their cherubs.
Be my torch
On the dark horizon's border,
My lamp
In the fog of fear.

Letting Go

Please email me if you know of the Original author

To let go doesn't mean to stop caring,
it means I can't do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off,
it's the realization that I can't control another
To let go is not to admit powerlessness,
which means the outcome is not in my hands
To let go is not to try and change or blame another,
 I can only change myself
To let go is not to care for,
 but to care about
To let go is not to fix,
 but to be supportive
To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their own outcomes
To let go is not to be protective,
it is to permit another to face reality
To let go is not to nag, scold, or argue,
but to try to take each day as it comes
To let go is not to criticize and regulate anyone
but to try to become what dreams can be
To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future
To let go is to fear less and love more!!!

2 Timothy 1:7 : For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
